At Tobin we know how to install your system correctly so it will perform properly. In fact, we often fix other contractors work when on service calls and we see that your a/c or furnace has been installed incorrectly.
Earn up to $1,150 in rebates for high-efficiency cooling systems
Step 1 – Choose a participating contractor who will perform a Quality Installation and offer Xcel Energy AC system rebates.
Step 2 – Purchase and install a new, qualifying AC system. An AHRI certificate is essential.
- The Air Conditioning, Heating & Refrigeration Instituteis a neutral “third-party” proof source of the efficiency of air conditioning systems. The outdoor and indoor components of an AC system must be matched to qualify.
- Rebates can only be processed if the new AC system has an AHRI certificate. Your contractor is aware of this if they are a participating contractor.
- Efficiency ratings are typically higher with a matched furnace. The furnace does not have to be new in order to match.
- A thermostatic expansion valve (TXV) is required. A TXV helps regulates the refrigerant flow to the indoor components with precision and efficiency.
Step 3 – Send us the completed rebate application form
Your participating contractor will provide you with an application form with the majority completed.
